1MillionHours2HelpBNP Paribas launched 1MillionHours2Help on 5December 2019.

The 1 Million Hours to Help programme is a global initiative that encourages employees to volunteer their time to support social and environmental causes. The program aims to enable employees to collectively contribute one million hours of volunteer work annually. 

In 2019, BNP Paribas became a partner of the Zayed Sustainability Prize’s Beyond2020. Established in 2008, the prize has grown into a significant and globally renowned award for delivering critical, life-transforming solutions to a broad number of beneficiaries’ worldwide, providing technology for good and fostering development that is inclusive and sustainable.

Launched by the Zayed Sustainability Prize, Beyond2020 provides humanitarian aid to vulnerable communities worldwide, addressing global sustainability challenges.
With the help of the Beyond2020 partners the Prize accelerates the deployment of solutions developed by its winners and finalists, providing tech for good and fostering development that is inclusive and sustainable to those who need it the most.
With a mission to drive positive change and make a meaningful contribution to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Beyond2020 aims to create an equitable and prosperous future for all.
Projects focus on four primary Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN), in the areas of health, food, energy, and water. BNP Paribas has supported projects in communities around the world.
